Note the small tabs sticking through the paper on the right. These are made of the same material as the pages and, when I first bought the Loci Communes, held the notes together as a book. In separating the pages so that they could be photographed, some of the pages came off these strips, but I kept as many pages as possible together in their original order. I photographed and numbered the pages in the order in which they were originally bound. Note the frequent use of ![]()
Also note the frequent use of ÷, which we use today in arithmetic, but apparently had a different meaning in the sixteenth century.
